Course A (standard intensive: 30 lessons / week)
Schedule  : 09.00-12.15 a.m. (group lessons, max 12)
          +     : 01.00-02.30 p.m. (mini-group conversation classes, max 6)

Course B (combined: 30+5 lessons / week)
Schedule  : 09.00-12.15 a.m.  (group lessons, max 12)
     +          : 01.00-02.30 p.m.  (mini-group conversation classes, max 6)
     +          : 02.45-03.30 p.m.  (one-to-one lessons)

One-to-one
Schedule: n. a.
The fee for one hour (60 min) of individual tuition is 37,00 Euro.
Frequency and intensity as requested (minimum suggested unit per lesson: 90 min.)
Special Courses in for examinations for Cils , Deli, Celi ( ask for programme ) or purposes available (e.g.: business, tourism/hotels, bank, medicine, history of art,   etc.)
We propose also a ‘Business Class' programme, 6 or 8 hrs a day, including lunch with a teacher (there will be added to the tuition fees c.ca 40-50 Euro daily for the meals).

Other courses, seminars and activities (Italian literature, cinema, opera, etc...) are held weekly, and normally offered free of charge (or just at the ticket's costs, or similar expenses). The following two samples are some of the most common ones:

History of art
Takes place normally twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. Includes sightseeings (free lessons, sightseeing may have tickets or travel costs).

Cooking classes
Usually one evening (Wednesday or Friday).

Books, materials, placement tests, final exams (optional) and accommodation service are free of charge. ‘Lessons' as described in courses schedule are of 45 min, and courses are held as described above with a minimum of 3 students: if there are (rare event) only 1-2 participants in a level, the school reserves the right to provide a reduced number of daily lessons, while that means the students will get their right level anyway, less intensive, but more personalized. The max. number of students per group is 12, or 6 in the mini-groups (see courses A and B).

Enrolment fee: there is a once and forever enrolment fee of 55 Euro, which doesn't expire.

Only exception: when documents for a student's visa are requested (non EC citizens), the enrolment fee will be charged again any time you ask for a new certificate (e.g. in case of prolongation/renewal of your stay).

Cancellation policy: cancellations received before the course starts are totally refundable (deducted taxes, bank charges, or the like, but no extra ‘cancellation fees'). After a booked course has started (e.g. cancellations without notice, students leaving earlier, or the like) no refunds can be made.

How to pay: we do accept VISA/MasterCard credit cards but only here at your arrival, not from abroad. Of course you can also pay cash, or via bank transfer (in that case, ask for our bank coordinates while sending your registration). It is necessary to send 105,00 Euro in advance for the course confirmation. If you need documents for student's visa or permission from local police authorities, we must ask first a not refundable deposit of 15% of the course price + 55 Euro enrolment fee.

Any Monday: after a placement test the student will join the most appropriate group (there are seven language levels), if they're not complete beginners.

Beginners: please check carefully the following starting dates for beginners courses.

21th January, 18th February, 17th March,14th April, 12th May, 09th June, 07thJuly, 04st August, 01 September, 29th September, 27rd October, 24th November.

Courses in 2008 will start 21th January and end 19th December. No courses are held during Christmas holidays. The institute will also remain closed on the following holidays: 24 march,25th April, 1st May, 02nd June, 15th August, 08th december. No courses are held and no refunds are due for those days.

From 14 to 18 January only individual classes.

Family* Bed & Breakfast **

* ‘Family accommodation' may be either with actual families or singles.
** Breakfast included. Half board available on request: € 16,00 per meal.

Shared apartments ***

*** To share either with other foreigner students or with Italians.

Above prices are per week/person.

Important note: double rooms are always reserved by couples or friends coming together, so if you are travelling alone, only the single room option will be available.

Bed linen are provided by the landladies/lords. You should only bring bathroom towels.

Lodgings are automatically reserved from one day before the course starts (Sunday) to the day after the course ends (Saturday morning). In case of problems regarding your travel, please inform us immediately, so that we can plan accordingly. Usual charge for ‘extra nights' (if possible) in families or shared flats is € 30,00/35/00 per person. If not possible we'll have then to reserve a hotel or ‘pensione' (normally inexpensive family hotels, two stars, unless requested otherwise).

Our accommodation service is at your disposal if you want a lodging out of the standard options above (e.g. Hotels, independent studios) but we may need more time for the search and we will have to send you a price case by case.

We can provide a pick-up service (via private company) at the airport of Fiumicino for € 50,00/60,00.

It's not so difficult to reach Rome via public transports, and it's far less expensive, despite the long distance (unless you arrive in late evening, because the train goes only until 11.30 p.m.). So, it's up to you to decide.
