It is almost inevitable to visit Rome at least once in your life. For its works of art, its history, its unique atmosphere and, of course, to learn the language. One of the many roads that "lead to Rome" is in fact the Italian Language.
To be more than a simple tourist, to enter more deeply into the reality of the Eternal City and to really make contact with the inhabitants: all this is possible.

WHY US?

The Istituto Italiano is a private school founded in 1984, and specialises in the teaching of the Italian Language to foreigners. It was a founding member of the ASILS (Association of Schools teaching Italian as a Second Language) and is a recognised centre for the preparation of students for the University of Siena’s CILS examinations.

Our highly qualified and expert teachers, the up to date didactic materials and programmes (our Institute has taken part in two of the European Community’s Language programmes), the international environment, the lively and friendly atmosphere and our reception’s willingness to help, all combine to create the ideal situation for achieving your linguistic goals whilst, at the same time, having a pleasant stay in the "Eternal City".

The Institute is situated halfway between S. Giovanni in Laterano and S.ta Maria Maggiore, two of the four main Basilicas of Rome. Ten minutes walking distance from Colosseum: an ideal, central position, connected by numerous bus and underground lines.
